Hotdesking is another trend coming about for operators to maximise their space capacity. The serviced office industry evolved from single office tenancies transforming into smaller separate office tenancies within one building, however hot-desking now goes one step further by subdividing those office rooms into 4 or 5 workspaces catering to a more price-sensitive tenancy market.
Hot-desking is different to its sibling “Co-working” as the desk partitions allows for more privacy and not as collaborative focused however it still serves a great need for certain industries willing to sacrifice space and privacy for the benefit of lower cost workspace and the ability to meet clients in a professional environment.
